As part of a gift to my husband who turned 40 in 2016, I baked 40 pies in the year of his 40th birthday. The accompanying poster documents each pie in the order they were baked and served. He shared them with friends and co-workers, so over a 6-month period, many people got to 'celebrate' his birthday with him by eating a slice of pie.
