I had the opportunity in January 2017 to teach a 3-week course on Scandinavian history, culture, design, the concept of hygge and sustainable energy systems with a colleague as a pre-departure course for students we are taking on a course trip to Denmark and Sweden in May 2017. Here are a few photos from the course, which included cooking Scandinavian cuisine, yoga, measuring length of commercial wind turbines, completing nature-based, Andy Goldsworthy inspired sculptures in our campus woods, among other activities.
